Did you ever notice, after you get that delicious soup from Chick-fil-A you have this awesome reusable container.  There are so many ways you can reuse your soup containers and save more waste from polluting our Earth.

I decided to give my children the chance to come up with ideas how to use their empty soup containers. They came up with wonderful ideas using their soup containers and supplies with already had at home.
My 10 year old daughter came up with the idea of a hanging garden.  She glued the the lid to the bottom of the bowl and started painting the bowl blue and the lid red.  While waiting for the glue and paint to dry, she braided the yarn cutting 4 equal pieces.  Once everything was dry she used the hole punch and punched 4 holes, one in each corner of the bowl and 4 holes, one in each corner of the lid.  I helped her tie her strings on and we took it outside to hang and add pretty flowers!

My 5 year old son came up with the idea to use his soup container for his Lego men.  I helped him cut a flap in the top of his container and we decorated it with duct tape.  While his idea was simple, it was his own idea and he was very proud.

Now it is your turn.  Save your Chick-fil-A soup containers and take the #ChickfilamomsDIY challenge.
