I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
Have you ever heard of a bike TV? Or a bird diaper? 50 Wacky Inventions Throughout History describes 50 inventions that seem too crazy to be true--but are! Whether useful, entertaining, or just plain silly, these mind-boggling inventions and gadgets from yesterday, today, and tomorrow will surprise and delight fun-fact lovers of all ages.

What a fun and engaging book for children.  Joe Rhatigan's 50 Wacky Inventions Throughout History makes reading fun with colorful artwork and wacky inventions that you would never even think is possible. 112 pages from QuartoKnows that will get your mind working.

This book makes you wonder what those inventors were thinking when they came up with their inventions.  How does someone come up with such a cool but wacky idea for everyday life.  Like an alarm that alerts parents to a dirty diaper?!  Not sure how likely that would be used.   I did enjoy the alarm invention that shakes your bed when you get up.  I am a hard sleeper and that would come in handy in the mornings.

My children enjoyed reading this book while using their brains to invent their own wacky inventions to make.  Young or old there is no limit to your imagination.  This book sparked imagination in my children; they quickly got out their inventor box and started dreaming up ideas.  Imagination is a great to have at any age, Nurture it!
