Do your kids do chores?  My kids do, but we need a better system that they can do on their own.  We are trying out Trigger Memory's Zone Cleaning For Kids.  I want to have a system that the kids can take responsibility and do themselves.  Zone Cleaning For Kids is proving to be exactly that.
Zone Cleaning For Kids is a small spiral bond book with laminated pages.  This book comes with a dry erase marker, labels, and instructional DVD.  Zone Cleaning For Kids has four sections that include kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom.  Each section has a visual check list and step-by-step instructions to help your child do their cleaning chore correctly.  They use a dry erase marker to check off each chore as they get them done.  There is a section for parents to customize by adding optional jobs for each day of the week.

My kids have really enjoyed having this.  I took turns letting each of my children use this since one is 6 years old and one is 11 years old.  My 6-year-old who is not able to read, understood the visual photos of most of the steps. He liked being independent and checking off what he had accomplished. My 11 year old found this book easy to understand and a great way to keep track of what chores she had accomplished for the day.   This a great way to have children take responsibility doing their chores.  This is exactly what every mom needs to help with daily chores!
